School is fast approaching and Hanover Township will once again hold its annual backpack distribution. Residents can help the Township help students in need! A $25 donation to the Hanover Township Foundation will cover the cost of buying one (1) backpack and filling it with school supplies for a Township youth. Last year, Hanover Township distributed 2,552 new backpacks with supplies to local students.

Donations of school supplies are also being accepted for our Backpack Distribution event. Supplies can be dropped off at all Township offices! Most needed items include backpacks, spiral notebooks, filler paper, pencils, markers, crayons, scissors, rulers, flash drives, two-pocket folders, erasers, calculators, highlighters, pens and glue sticks.

Backpacks will be distributed in early August. Online registration for the Backpack Distribution will open on July 6 for Township youth in grades K-8.
