Each non-profit has curated a wish list of items and support that they need to continue their vital work.

Family Services Association of Greater Elgin needs the following donations: small disposable bottles, kid-friendly healthy shelf-stable snacks (things we can hand out to hungry kids), Gas/Uber/Lyft gift cards, sticky notes, food gift cards, (McDonalds/Burger King, etc.), pharmacy cards, blank journals, art supplies, sketchbook/coloring book, new/gently used games, fidget spinners, little goodie bag of items that utilize the five senses, sensory items, coupons for different fun activates, weighted blankets.

Well Child Center provides critical health and social services for under-resourced families and has administered the federal government’s Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in northern Kane County, Well Child Center’s pediatric dental clinic, and Food for Families,­ supporting the most vulnerable children and families in the area, through a joint venture with Food for Greater Elgin.

Donations to Side Street Studio Arts goes a long way in bringing art and creativity to our community.

Side Street continues to support the growth of creativity and community for artists of all ages through free classes for kids, open mic nights, access to innovative and entertaining performances, eclectic exhibitions, and other vital resources. We are able to continue our current endeavors as well as grow our offerings to the community. This can include hosting more classes, hiring more teachers, supporting more artists in residence, bringing on interns, upgrading our spaces and supplies and so much.

Whether you have overstock, surplus, or discontinued product lines or display materials, or are involved in remodeling projects where reusable materials are being replaced with new product, we may want it. Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)3 charity, so donations are tax deductible.
