New Scislowski Family Football Facility and Flynn Football Offices to Strengthen Student-Athlete Experience
Elgin, IL – April 26, 2025 — Judson University, in partnership with the Athletics Department and the Eagles Football Program, is proud to announce the groundbreaking of a new state-of-the-art football facility on campus this May, made possible through the generous support of program donors.
On Saturday, May 3, the university will host a full day of spring football events to celebrate this major milestone. The day will begin with the dedication of the Flynn Football Offices, the new headquarters for the Eagles’ coaching staff and team operations. Located inside the University Building, this modern facility will feature office space, meeting rooms, and team planning areas. It is named in honor of the Flynn family, led by Mr. Shawn Flynn, a Judson alumnus and current University Trustee, whose leadership and generosity have been instrumental to the program’s advancement.
Following the dedication, the university will break ground on the Scislowski Family Football Facility, a purpose-built complex adjacent to the Lindner Fitness Center. The new building will replace the original football offices and include locker rooms, position meeting rooms, player lounges, and a team film room that will provide a dedicated space to support player development, training, and team culture. The Scislowski family, longtime supporters of Judson University, made this transformational project possible through their significant contributions.
Head Coach Quintin Demps is thrilled about how these additions will impact the growing football program. “This facility is a game-changer for our program. It’s about investing in our players, building a winning culture, and setting a new standard for Judson Football.”
After a donor tailgate luncheon, the day’s festivities will culminate at Dawson Field with the Eagles’ 2025 Spring Football Game, kicking off at 1:00 p.m. This will be the program’s only on-campus game opportunity, as regular season home games are held at Streamwood High School.
The 2025 season will begin with Judson’s first-ever “Week 0” matchup on Thursday, August 28, marking the start of Coach Demps’ third season leading the program.
May 3 promises to be a historic day for Judson Football—celebrating growth, vision, and a bright future made possible through transformational donor partnerships.
