Your opportunity is here — applications for the 2026 Outdoor Event Incentive Program are now OPEN!

The program offers financial support for individuals and organizations planning outdoor community events. Applications will be accepted now through Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026.

The program includes four funding categories — Encore, Market Makers, Active Elgin, and Launch — each designed to support different event types and community goals, with dedicated funding ranging from $15,000 - $40,000. All applications will be evaluated using a standardized scoring rubric based on accessibility, feasibility, community impact, safety, and event autonomy.
