Elgin Launches “Engage Elgin” – New Online Hub for Community Engagement

ELGIN, IL – The city of Elgin has launched Engage Elgin, an online platform designed to make it easier than ever for residents to connect with city projects, share feedback and help shape Elgin’s future.

The site serves as a central hub for information and participation, giving residents multiple ways to stay informed and get involved. In addition to surveys, open forums, voting opportunities, videos and interactive maps, the platform offers tools for residents to share feedback, exchange ideas and take part in decision-making. Available 24/7, it provides convenient access for residents to engage with city initiatives on their own schedule.

“Our goal with Engage Elgin is to create a trusted space where residents can learn, engage and help drive the decisions that shape our city,” said Director of Communications and Engagement Jeff Knox. “It’s about making sure every voice is heard. It will complement, not replace, our current engagement methods, serving as an additional resource for the community.”
