Announcing the Cook County Arts Creative Placemaking Program - Get Involved and Spread the Word!

Cook County Arts, an initiative led by the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development, is leading a creative placemaking program that will provide grants ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 to nonprofit organizations leading transformative, community-led projects that improve the quality of life in suburban communities.

• Proposed projects may include:
• Murals and public art
• Community gardens
• Re-imagined public spaces
• And more!

Suburban nonprofit organizations must serve as the lead applicant on projects, and they are encouraged to coll, including small businesses, residents, independent artists and local governments.

Applications are due Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:59 p.m., and online assistance is available to help interested parties with the application process.

An informational webinar will be held Thursday, March 20, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
