The Kane County Health Department is committed to the health and well-being of all Kane
County residents. We work diligently to assess community health needs, develop and implement
programs and services, and enforce public health laws and regulations. Our dedicated team
investigates disease outbreaks, monitors environmental health hazards, and provides vital public
health education to promote healthier lifestyles. By utilizing data-driven approaches and
collaborating with community partners, we strive to create a healthier Kane County for generations to come.
The Health Department offers a full array of public health programs and is certified by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
