We are a body of Christians committed to continuing the work of Jesus in nearly 800 congregations across the United States. We are also part of the Global Church of the Brethren Communion which is a fellowship with eleven other Brethren denominations around the world. Based in the Anabaptist and Pietist faith traditions, the Church of the Brethren is a Historic Peace Church. Our vision is “Together, as the Church of the Brethren, we will passionately live and share the radical transformation and holistic peace of Jesus Christ through relationship-based neighborhood engagement. To move us forward, we will develop a culture of calling and equipping disciples who are innovative, adaptable, and fearless.”
