Key Responsibilities
• Cooking: Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to meet quality standards.
• Supervision: Delegate tasks, oversee kitchen stations, and train new staff.
• Menu Planning: Assist the Executive Chef in creating new menu ideas and seasonal dishes.
• Kitchen Operations: Manage daily operations, maintain equipment, and oversee cleanliness.
• Communication: Maintain clear, efficient communication with all kitchen staff.
• Leadership: Provide confident direction and motivation for the kitchen team.
• Problem-Solving: Remain calm under pressure and effectively address kitchen challenges.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure consistent quality and presentation in every dish.
• Culinary Creativity: Bring imaginative skills and knowledge of diverse cuisines to the table.
Qualifications
• Education:
• Formal culinary training preferred, though equivalent hands-on experience is also valued.
• Club experience and an understanding of member service expectations are highly desirable.
• Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience in a Sous Chef or equivalent role (preferred).
