Love soccer? Want a fun way to make some extra money and stay active? Elgin Parks & Recreation is looking for youth soccer officials for our recreational soccer leagues. Our focus is on learning, sportsmanship, and fun — not just the final score.

Seasons

• Spring: April – June

• Fall: August – September

Game Schedule

• Most games are on Saturdays, starting as early as 9:00 AM

• Some weeknight games may be scheduled

• You can work one or both seasons, based on availability

What You’ll Do

• Officiate youth recreational soccer games

• Help create a positive, safe, and fun environment for players

• Apply rules with an emphasis on learning and fair play

• Communicate clearly with coaches and players

• Show up on time and ready to go

Who We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 14 years old

• Basic knowledge of soccer (playing or watching counts!)

• Experience officiating is great, but not required

• Responsible, dependable, and comfortable working with kids
