Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the execution of Continuous Improvement (CI) projects across the organization
This role involves utilizing various CI tools to standardize best practices, eliminate defects, waste, and variation, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Manage, execute, and oversee assigned CI projects using various tools and methodologies
Research, propose, and implement CI tools and methodologies to guide and coach other project managers
Act as a change agent to drive cultural transformation and adoption of process improvement practices
Monitor performance and improvement in key metrics and initiatives
Provide statistical analysis expertise to identify and scope CI projects
Participate in Safe Quality Food (SQF) activities as required
Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will support the execution of Continuous Improvement (CI) projects across the organization. This role involves utilizing various CI tools to standardize best practices, eliminate defects, waste, and variation, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage, execute, and oversee assigned CI projects using various tools and methodologies.
• Research, propose, and implement CI tools and methodologies to guide and coach other project managers.
• Act as a change agent to drive cultural transformation and adoption of process improvement practices.
• Monitor performance and improvement in key metrics and initiatives.
• Provide statistical analysis expertise to identify and scope CI projects.
• Participate in Safe Quality Food (SQF) activities as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or process engineering discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience utilizing statistical analysis and leading projects.
• Working knowledge of CI tools and methods (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, 5S).
• Cross-functional operations knowledge (production, packaging, scheduling, distribution, quality, maintenance, workflow planning, safety, and HR).
• Formal certifications in Statistics, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Project Management preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish, required.
