Highland Woods Home Services (HWSCare) is a non-medical home care agency dedicated to providing compassionate caregivers and companions to clients in their homes. We focus on helping our clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in a safe and familiar environment.

We are currently hiring Non-Medical In-Home Caregivers to provide personal care and companionship services to our growing client base.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs):
• Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
• Meal preparation and light cooking
• Mobility assistance and fall prevention
• Provide medication reminders only (no medication administration)
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and basic cleaning
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation (if required)
• Observe and report any changes in client condition to the office

Qualifications:

• Previous caregiving, companionship, or personal care experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older and pass a background check
• Must be able to speak and understand English clearly
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently in a home setting
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Able to bend, squat, and lift to 50 lbs.
• CNA is not required – This is a non-medical position

Location & Schedule

• Work in-person in for FT or PT jobs available in Cook, Lake, Will, DuPage, Kane & McHenry counties
• Must be able to commute
• Day, evening, and weekend shifts available
