Position Description:

We’re seeking a Project Architect/Project Manager for our Firm. This position is responsible for:

• Ensuring project requirements are addressed, outstanding items are completed and tasks that remain open are accomplished.
• Project phases including field surveying, schematic design, design development, permit/construction documents, field verifications and coordination with municipal officials, owners, and engineers.
• The production of drawings for multiple projects.
• Working directly with Clients.
• Leading teams.
• This position takes direction from the Architect of Record.

Desired Qualifications:

• 10+ years' experience in a firm.
• 2+ years managing teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Licensure is required for the Project Architect position.
• Fluency with AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with IRC, IBC and accessibility codes.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• An understanding of ‘how’ a building is put together
• A knowledge of the process required to document the building for the design process as well as the Builder.
• A great attitude with the patience to teach and empower others.
