This Cashier position would primarily be for evening and weekends. The Cashier will provide an Amazing Customer Experience through helpful and friendly service that ensures customer needs are being met and encourages customers to make Ziegler's Ace Hardware their store of choice.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Provide a positive representation of Ziegler's Ace Hardware
• Greet customers who enter the store and who come to the register
• Handle customer transactions quickly and efficiently
• Follow established procedures for credit card, check and cash handling
• Count down and balance cash drawer
• Answer incoming calls and ensure the customer gets a timely response
• Stock and maintain product in the checkout area
• Participate in regularly scheduled training sessions offered by the company
• Follow safety practices and keep safety in mind for all associates and customers
