Responsibilities:

The Manager of Fund Development is responsible for the overall management and implementation of Foundation and NISRA fund development strategies, fundraising events and annual giving campaigns.  The Manager of Fund Development shall also work cooperatively with the Executive Director and other staff in the research and submittal of grants and funding applications.        

Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Parks and Recreation, Business/Public Administration or related field with three years of full time experience; proven written and oral communication skills; and understanding of fundraising and volunteer/committee management.

Essential Functions:      

Work cooperatively with the Executive Director and Manager of Communication & Marketing to position NISRA and the Foundation to gain the support

of individuals, corporations and service clubs.

Develop and implement a fund development strategy to meet the current and future needs of NISRA and the Foundation.

Assist Executive Director with research and submission of grants and funding proposals for NISRA and the Foundation as needed.

Actively lead and work cooperatively with all fundraising event committees.

Prepare and manage the budgets of all fundraising events.

Arrange and implement presentations to corporations and community groups regarding fundraising event sponsorships and contributions.

Obtaining donated goods and service for use at fundraising events.

Secure and manage arrangements with facilities and other vendors associated with the implementation of fundraising events.

Manage the effective utilization of volunteers for events and office related projects.

Assist with the processing of event registrations.

Manage various methods of recognizing the involvement of event sponsors, contributors and volunteers.

Assist with the deposit of revenues and payment of bills of the Foundation.

Work cooperatively with the Foundation’s Annual Giving Committee to solicit annual contributions.

Attend board and committee meetings of the NISRA Foundation.

Maintain an effective database of individuals and organizations involved in the Foundation.

Research and develop future fundraising activities for the consideration of the Foundation Board.

Perform other reasonable duties related to the position as assigned by the Executive Director.

Assist in maintaining the agency safety program.
