Job Summary

Mill Creek Bagel Company is looking for friendly, reliable team members to join our front-of-house and sandwich line team. This role is cross-trained to handle customer service, cashier duties, and sandwich preparation. We value quality, efficiency, and genuine hospitality, and we’re looking for people who take pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Cashier Duties

• Strive to provide customers with a smooth and enjoyable experience from ordering to checkout. Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Product Display and Stocking:

• Maintain the appearance of the front counter, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Sandwich & Food Preparation

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to menu specifications and customer preferences.
• Slice, chop, and portion ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality in every order.

Teamwork 

• Work collaboratively with team members during busy service periods
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience as a sandwich maker, line cook, or in a similar role preferred but not required. Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and knowledge of basic kitchen safety practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, basic math skills for handling transactions, and ability to operate a POS system.
• Attributes: Friendly, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Must be available for morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
