Santiago Kibby was first in line Wednesday to receive one of 200 refurbished laptop computers being distributed by AT&T at the Boys & Girls Club of North Central Illinois in Elgin. The event was part of the company’s Connectivity Week, held in partnership with Compudopt, a nonprofit that overhauls computers and loads them with software to be given to those in need, and Santiago was excited to be part of it, he said.
