FRWRD is proud to announce that two of our water reclamation facilities have received Peak Performance Awards from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA).

Our North Water Reclamation Facility earned the Platinum 7 Award, recognizing seven consecutive years of complete compliance with its discharge permit. Our West Water Reclamation Facility earned the Platinum 5 Award, marking five consecutive years of complete permit compliance.

These awards are among the wastewater industry’s highest operational honors. Achieving 100% permit compliance year after year requires consistent performance, careful monitoring, preventive maintenance, sound engineering, accurate laboratory analysis, and a daily commitment to protecting public health and the environment.

This recognition reflects the dedication of our operators, maintenance personnel, laboratory staff, engineers, and support teams who work every day to ensure reliable treatment, responsible environmental stewardship, and the protection of the Fox River and our regional waterways.
