For over 60 years, Anderson Humane has been a place of refuge and second chances for thousands of animals and the people who love them.

Why We Matter
Anderson Humane is a one-of-a-kind animal welfare organization dedicated to building meaningful connections between people and animals. Programs like our Adoption Program, Military Veterans Program, and Healing Paws Pet Therapy Program foster positive interactions that improve lives on both sides of the leash. By partnering with human-service organizations across our community, we amplify our impact and change lives for the better.

We’re also a trusted resource for pet owners, offering affordable veterinary care through our Low-Cost Vaccination, Dental, and Spay/Neuter Clinics, as well as programs that help pets stay in their homes—like our pet food pantry, affordable training, and temporary pet housing for families in crisis.
