About the Elgin Campus
Columbia College’s main campus in Columbia, MO was established in 1851. With 37 nationwide campus’s developed, the Elgin location located on the ECC campus opened its doors to students in 1997. Other CC Illinois locations can be found in Crystal Lake, Gurnee, and Freeport.

The campus offers high-tech classrooms, qualified academic advisors and faculty, the ECC library and computer labs, and high-speed, online access to library resources. Courses are offered in-seat, virtually, and online.

The Elgin campus provides a unique educational opportunity for working adults through its degree offerings and eight-week course format. As part of a network of campuses across the country and a robust online program, the college offers convenient courses to civilians as well as military adult learners.

Columbia College of Missouri-Elgin has an articulation agreement with Elgin Community College, which allows students a seamless transition from an associate degree through a bachelor's degree, and beyond, at Columbia College.
