Job description: Dental Assistant 

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a strong understanding of dental procedures. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care in a comfortable and efficient environment. You can be a part of successful and growing dental office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Setting up operatory rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures.

· Take good quality diagnostic x-rays.

· Take and record vital signs of patients prior to treatment.

· Assists the dentist during examinations and all treatment procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques.

· Records patient information accurately.

· Sterilizes and disinfects instruments and equipment.

· Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment. Keeping office space and operatory clean.

· Restocking and organizing rooms

· Making patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.

· Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.

· Knowledge of dental assisting techniques, including aseptic technique and infection control practices.

· Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.

· Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients and staff.

· Must be good at multitasking, problem solving, and a cooperative team player.

· Be responsible and dependable.
