YWCA Elgin will host the 42nd Annual Leader Luncheon on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at The Seville in Streamwood, IL. Presented by Title Sponsor The Schrieber Group, the event honors outstanding women whose leadership, service, and dedication create meaningful change in the Elgin community. 

Check-in begins at 11:00 a.m., with the program running from 11:45 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m. 

This year’s Leader Luncheon is especially meaningful as YWCA Elgin celebrates its 125th anniversary, marking more than a century of advancing racial justice, empowering women, and strengthening families throughout the region. 

The event will recognize the 2026 Leader Luncheon nominees, women who exemplify leadership and commitment to making a positive impact in their workplaces, neighborhoods, and organizations. 

The program will also feature Keynote Speaker Erin Ramirez, founder of Real Change Studio, who will share insights on leadership, growth, and creating meaningful impact. 

Carol Gieske of the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce will serve as the 2026 Honorary Chair. 

The Leader Luncheon brings together business leaders, nonprofit partners, and community members for an inspiring afternoon celebrating women who lead with purpose. Proceeds from the event support YWCA Elgin’s programs.
