The Atrium at Oak Crest Residence in Elgin is marking its milestone 120 years of serving the community by inviting community members for a free monthly lunch with reservations required starting Friday, July 12, 2024 at noon.

Join the excitement with family and friends to enjoy music, memories, and a delicious freshly prepared lunch to include a salad, main dish, and dessert. Lunches will continue once a month on the second Friday of the month.

As part of the celebration, Elgin’s own WRMN 1410 Radio will be live on site on July 12 from Noon to 1:00pm with their “Out to Lunch” segment which will feature its popular Music Memories Show.

“We are proud of the legacy we have achieved here over the decades to build a place where people could live in comfort and dignity in their senior years,” said Susan Cincinelli, executive director, the Atrium at Oak Crest Resident. “By hosting our free monthly lunch on the second Friday of each month, we hope to introduce community members to our very distinctive and caring environment.”
