Run with the Calacas!

The U-46 Educational Foundation and the Gail Borden Public Library Foundation, two of the community’s most child-centric foundations, are hosting the third annual El Trote de las Calacas on Saturday, Oct. 10. Experience this USTF-certified race, the final race of the Fox River Triad, along with a celebration honoring the Day of the Dead that will feature live music, food, dancing catrinas, performers, a cultural marketplace, and so much more.

The race steps off at 9 a.m., with music and fanfare, at the Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin. To register, click here.
