Illinois Tollway’s proposed capital program, Driving Connections. Driving Connections is a 15 year, $26.5 billion plan focused on rebuilding, improving, and modernizing the Tollway system. To help fund this work, the Tollway is proposing a toll rate adjustment—our first passenger vehicle increase in more than a decade. A public comment period is now open, and we will be holding public hearings in all 12 Tollway counties beginning the week of July 13.
