Fringe Fest 11th Annual Festival
Friday, September 20, 2024 (10:30 AM - 2:30 PM) (CDT)
Description
The 11th annual Elgin Fringe Festival is returning to downtown Elgin on September 20-29, 2024. The mission of the Elgin Fringe Festival is to encourage bold artistic experimentation and innovation by providing an accessible, affordable experience for both artists and audiences alike. This year, we have over 100 performances and events at venues all around downtown Elgin – Side Street, Vern’s, Elgin Public House, Martini Room, and for the first time the DuPage Ct. Promenade.
On Saturday, September 28, we will host three, all ages, free performances on DuPage Ct. from 10:30 am-2:30 pm. This will be the first time DuPage Ct. is used for a public event, so we are using this experience to explore some of the possibilities for the space, engage, and learn some lessons.
Our events often have an excellent draw. So, we want to encourage you to:
- · Be open. Be you. Maybe have a special. Tap into the fringe-specific visitors.
- · Set up a table and/or tent outside your location or on the promenade to tell people about your offerings,
- engage, have an activity, etc.
- · Share the info to draw more folks downtown – good for everyone!
