The Elgin Police Department’s Winter Open House Come meet our officers and staff and celebrate the season. Join us for treats and lots to do from 10a-12p in the EPD lobby. Grab a BATT ride in front of the station, visit our Face Painter, try your accuracy on our Simulator with the Rangemasters, meet a special guest from Flint Creek Wildlife, make an ornament, decorate a cookie, meet McGruff, and much more. Special Appearances: -Talk to Santa from 10-10:30 a.m. -Hear performances from 4 Strings Attached from 10:30-11:30 a.m. -Meet our Therapy Dogs, Chance & Charm, during a presentation by Det. Arnold to close out the event around 11:50 a.m. Holiday Contests–kids can enter our contests to win a prize: -Bring your home-made ornament -Wear your best holiday outfit or ugly sweater We look forward to kicking off the holiday season with all of you.  Join Us
