🏃‍♀️🏃🏃‍♂️El Trote De Las Calacas Lively Cultural Event & Certified 5K Race November 2, 2024 • 8 am Make plans to be part of the kickoff El Trote De Las Calacas/Trot of the Skeletons. For the first time ever, the Gail Borden Public Library District Foundation and the U-46 Educational Foundation have partnered to offer this 5K fundraising race. Part of the November 2 Día de los Muertos event includes the 5K Race followed by our Day of the Dead Festival inside the Library. Both runners and walkers celebrate Day of the Dead. Complete with ofrenda, costumes, music and food, it will be truly memorable to be part of the first one.
