Sheri DeShazo has served as President of Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin since 2020. She holds a Master in Health Care Administration and a Master of Business Administration, as well as Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has led strategic initiatives and market growth, leadership development, and regulatory compliance while improving clinical services and operations in academic, ambulatory, and acute care settings within several health systems. 

She is a 2022 Daniel Burnham Fellow of Leadership Greater Chicago. a Board-Certified Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and also serves as a Board member for the Elgin Area Chamber. She enjoys reading, family time, music, and practicing martial arts.

Our Women's Leadership Circle is a collaboration of women leaders to help you build relationships and extend your personal and professional development. This is an opportunity to collaborate and network with a charismatic group of women representing many sectors of business, education, health care, manufacturing, and non-profits. We'll meet monthly for lunch from 11:30 am to 1 pm and occasionally an afternoon from 4:30 to 6 pm.

We're unable to issue a refund if your reservation is not canceled 72 hours in advance because we've already paid for it. Attendees of Chamber events agree to allow the Chamber and/or its official photographer to capture their image via photograph, video, or screenshot in the context of the event.
