Contracting with Government: A Roadmap for Business Opportunities

The Illinois Tollway is hosting an event to connect small, diverse and veteran-owned businesses with critical resources and opportunities to grow their goods and services businesses. Learn more.

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet, network and learn about upcoming 2025 buying plans, visit the learning lab for registration help, participate in quick connect sessions with IT vendors and learn how to do business with the Tollway and other state agencies.

9 am to 3 pm at The Edward Scock Centre of Elgin 100 Symphony Way, Elgin

Workshops will include:

How to do Business with the Tollway: Goods and Services – Illinois Tollway

Doing Business with the Tollway, a Deeper Dive Into Procurement – Illinois Tollway

How to get Business Enterprise Program and Veteran certified – Commission on Equity and Inclusion

Navigating BidBuy and Small Business Registration in the Illinois Procurement Gateway – Chief Procurement Office for General Services


There will also be a designated space for businesses in the Information Technology sector to learn about the different ways to do business with the Tollway and network with prime IT vendors.

Online registration is available through Monday. May 12, 2025, at noon. On-site registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Online registration is strongly encouraged to ensure a quicker experience upon arrival.
