Connections Are on the Menu at Let’s Do Lunch
Building Relationships, Sharing Opportunities, and Strengthening Our Business Community
Great food may bring people to the table, but meaningful connections are what make the Elgin Area Chamber’s Let’s Do Lunch events so valuable.
At our recent gathering at ZZA Pizza, members and guests shared ideas, learned more about one another’s organizations, and discovered new opportunities to work together.
Habitat for Humanity Restore may have connected with a new volunteer. And, found a new vendor! We also met Edmund, who is considering becoming an Elgin Area Chamber member and joining our growing business community.
Dora from Comfort Suites shared how their newly remodeled hotel can accommodate guests attending weddings, celebrations, and other special occasions. Conveniently located at 2480 Bushwood Drive in Elgin, Comfort Suites offers a welcoming option for friends and family visiting the area.
Dora also gave a special shout-out to Ryan Cortez of Explore Elgin, sharing how valuable and engaging his hospitality meetings are. It was another great example of Chamber members recognizing and supporting the work of others in our community.
We were also pleased to see EAC Influencer Donna Chair of Prairie Community Bank—someone we can always count on to participate, support our members, and help make valuable introductions.
And that was only one side of the table!
Conversations like these demonstrate the true value of Chamber membership. You never know whether the person sitting across from you will become your next customer, volunteer, referral partner, business connection, or friend.
When you attend Chamber events, you are doing more than enjoying lunch. You are building relationships, increasing awareness of your organization, and opening the door to opportunities that might not happen anywhere else.
Join us at the next Let’s Do Lunch and take your seat at the table. Your next great connection may be waiting for you!
