Peak Construction Corporation’s Riddell Project Awarded ENR Midwest’s 2017 Best Projects

Des Plaines, IL  — Peak Construction Corporation is proud to announce that the Riddell facility in North Ridgeville, OH has been selected as one of ENR Midwest’s 2017 Best Projects. As the sole winner in the Manufacturing category, the Riddell project entailed the design-build construction of a new 347,205SF manufacturing and distribution facility that opened earlier this year. The building relocated Riddell’s existing operations in Elyria, OH, which included on-field football helmet and custom shoulder pad assemblies, as well as, transferred production of their full-size collectible football helmets and football gear and apparel distribution from Rantoul, IL. Independent judges from architecture, engineering and construction firms were assembled by ENR Midwest to initially score and discuss nominations and, ultimately, come to a consensus on project winners.

“We couldn’t be happier with our recent experience working with Peak Construction on our new 350,000 square-foot facility in North Ridgeville. Their entire staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable and makes working with them a pleasure. They helped us meet a very aggressive timeline and provided invaluable input regarding complex operations processes along the way. I don’t think any other contractor would have met the expectations or ambitious timelines that were set before them, like Peak did. We can’t say enough good things about working with them,” shared Benjamin Marker, General Manager North Ridgeville Operations of Riddell.

Peak was also recently named one of ENR Midwest’s 2017 Top Contractors and one of Midwest Real Estate News’ 2017 Best of the Best Top Construction Companies.

In 2014, the BRG Sports (formerly Easton-Bell Sports) facility Peak design-built in Rantoul received ENR Midwest’s Best Projects Award of Merit.
