Gail Borden Library Foundation Book Sale September 20 to 24

Set aside some time to browse through a variety of books and media that will be for sale at the semi-annual Library Foundation Book Sale September 20 to 24 at the Main Library, 270 N. Grove Ave. in Elgin. Be one of the first to find the most popular selections at Preview Night from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20. The admission cost for Preview Night will be $10. Admission will be free for the remainder of the sale.

 Thousands of books and media for all ages will be for sale including fiction and nonfiction as well as large collections of military history, John F. Kennedy materials, Civil War books, cookbooks, vintage science fiction, mystery books and much more. Audiobooks, CD’s and DVD’s also will be for sale.

 The hours of the book sale will be 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Preview Night, Wednesday, September 20, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, September 22 and 23, and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 24.
