About

Many first-time VNA Health Care patients walk in for a free pregnancy test. And then they become patients for the long-term. They deliver their babies with us, bring their growing families back to VNA for care, and continue to care for their own health as they complete their families and get older. VNA's philosophy of care focuses on the complete picture of a person's health while ensuring that all patients have convenient access to care and a choice of providers. VNA has two convenient locations in Elgin to choose from: on the west side of town, VNA is located at 620 Wing St. in the Well Child building. On the east side of town, VNA is located in its own building at 801 Villa St., across from the Fire Station. VNA has deep roots in the Elgin community. The organization known as 'The Elgin Visiting Nurse Association' merged with the Visiting Nurse Association in Aurora in 1986, and the name was changed to ''Visiting Nurse Association of Fox Valley''. In 2011, the organization changed its name again to ''VNA Health Care''. This change honors its historical roots as a ''VNA'' and reflects the fact that the organization has become a full-service, primary health care provider in addition to offering nursing focused health services in the home. Today, VNA Health Care provides affordable health care to over 55,000 men, women and children living primarily in Kane, DuPage and Will counties. VNA has nine community health centers located in Elgin, Aurora, Bensenville, Carol Stream, Bolingbrook and Romeoville. VNA's combination of convenience (by appointment or walk-in),
