    Summit School has an award winning track record of providing alternative education to children in northwest suburbs of Chicago; inlcuding Elgin, Barrington, West Dundee, Lake in the Hills, Schaumburg, Algonquin, Carpentersville and St. Charles. If your child is struggling with their current school or educational environment, Summit may be the answer. We specialize in serving children with:

    We believe that offering students a fun, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment is one of the most important factors in the learning process. In keeping with this philosophy, we set out to create a school that looks and feels like a school, but with specialized educational and social supports.
    At-Risk Preschool for All
    Children, ages three through five years old who may be at-risk of academic failure, are provided a quality preschool. The Illinois State Board of Education funds this preschool at no cost to families and children.
    All Day Kindergarden
    The all day kindergarten curriculum is aligned with the state learning standards and Common Core standards and helps to provide a seamless alignment of the kindergarten program with elementary school requirement
    Elementary Program
    The elementary program has two components depending upon the needs of the student.
