A client choice food pantry serving low income residents of Illinois. All shoppers receive fresh produce, diary, meat, bread and shelf-stable items. Our approach provides dignity and hope to often difficult situations. The Food For Greater Elgin Pantry is open five times every week, offering both day and evening shifts for our guests’ convenience. Households can receive food once per week, and may choose from a variety of products, including meat, fresh produce, dairy, deli, and shelf-stable items, and are assisted by volunteers during the shopping process.
