Qualifications and Skills

Attitude: We are in the business of helping people. You need a can-do attitude and a passion for making sure your clients always come first. Because we are a small company you are expected to be a team player always willing to do more than what is asked of you and not be afraid of making mistakes. We all make mistakes - this is how we learn and grow.
Sales experience: You need to have a sales mindset for this position. You are expected to meet your sales targets and think creatively on how to increase your leads and close rate. Experience in the customer service field is helpful. We will provide training on our sale process - you just need to have an open mind to learn our system AND the drive to accomplish your goals.
Communication: Be engaging while at the same time be open to listening to what customers are saying. You need to be comfortable and patient dealing with with both older and disabled people. Communicate clearly verbally and orally. Establish quick rapport with people and not be afraid to present to large groups of people (in-service presentations and demos).
Experience: Having experience in the medical or home health care organization is NOT necessary. Rather, we value a person that has experience meeting people at their homes to discuss solution options and is able to close the sale while at the kitchen table. We can teach you everything about our products and services - but we can't teach you how to have an engaging personality. You either have it or you don't. This will be key to your success.
Organization: You will be expected to develop a sales plan on how best to reach your sales objectives within your territory. Using our customer relationship management system you will be expected to input and maintain your client contact database and update the system to note progress.
Technical: Must be able to take necessary measurements of staircases, outside porch, yard areas and ceiling/rooms using a standard tape measure. You will be expected to create rough-sketch diagrams for job-site design. Basic computer skills and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and general web browsing navigation is a must.

We do not currently offer health benefits - we are considering offering this in the future as our business grows.

We are in the process of setting up a matching 401K plan for 2018.
