Human Resources Coordinator

Responsibilities : Post open positions internally and externally on job boards, website, schools, chambers and other media; screen and forward qualified candidates to hiring supervisors. Ensure all applicant and new hire paperwork is completed and returned. Enter electronic personnel record information into Payroll/HRIS and credentialing databases, follow up on missing employee and intern records, and provide notification of upcoming events. Review employee time records, manage payroll garnishments, administer FMLA and other leaves, and coordinate with Accounting & Payroll Specialist each payroll period. Handle employee injury reports and Workers Compensation claims. Respond to employee inquiries, and perform various HR recordkeeping and reporting. Conduct new hire background checks and orientation, perform benefits enrollment, update staff authorizations, make ID badges, and perform other essential HR and Payroll functions on a back-up basis.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field; three years human resources generalist work experience, including recruitment. Must be highly detail oriented, organized, have excellent computer and clerical skills. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, be discreet, and able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision. Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with some flexibility.
