SUMMARY:Children of America Wheelie good cause Trike a Thon
DESCRIPTION:The Ride of Their Lives: A Wheelie Good Cause Comes to South Elgin Children of America South Elgin is proud to partner with the Pryor Family Foundation to host the first annual "Wheelie Good Cause" Trike-A-Thon a family-centered fundraising event designed to bring our community together for a meaningful cause. Taking place on April 24\, 2026\, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM\, this exciting event will transform our playground into a high-energy racetrack where children can ride their bikes\, trikes\, and scooters while supporting families in need. The Trike-A-Thon is more than just a fun activity it is an opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact within our local community. All funds raised during the event will benefit the Pryor Family Foundation's Rapid Response Program\, which provides immediate financial assistance to families and childcare employees facing unexpected crises. Whether it's helping with emergency housing\, transportation\, or medical needs\, the program ensures that families can regain stability quickly allowing children to remain in their classrooms\, maintain routine\, and continue learning without disruption. At Children of America\, we see firsthand how critical stability is for a child's development. When families face sudden hardship\, it can disrupt not only their daily lives but also a child's ability to learn and thrive. Through this partnership\, we are able to step in as a community and provide real-time support when it matters most. This event also highlights the power of local collaboration. We are actively seeking partnerships with local businesses\, organizations\, and community members who want to be part of something impactful. From sponsorships and donations to on-site engagement and family-friendly activities\, there are many ways to get involved. Participants can contribute through donations\, with 100% of proceeds going directly to families in crisis\, and each $5 donation earns a raffle entry for a chance to win a brand-new bike adding an extra layer of excitement to the event. We invite the South Elgin community to join us in supporting this mission whether by attending\, donating\, or partnering with us. Together\, we can ensure that every child has the stability and support they need to keep moving forward.
