Elgin Area Small Business Academy
You have a dream. Don't Let it Turn Into A Nightmare.
Like every great adventure, an entrepreneur will be called upon to confront the unknown and overcome adversity to succeed. The journey is exciting but the outcome is far from certain. Only half of new businesses with employees survive past 5 years. Often, they don't have the experience or access to expert advice that veteran entrepreneurs can rely on at decisive moments in their company's development.
We can help with that! The Elgin Area Chamber can help streamline your road to your success. We'll connect you with the people, resources, and information you need to help make your dream a reality in our new Elgin Area Small Business Academy (EASBA). Our talented volunteer entrepreneurs leading the Academy have significant knowledge in owning and growing their own businesses and will share their real-world experience to help you achieve you goal.
We've put together a roadmap as you think about opening a business or are in the first few years of operating your own business. We'll meet once a month for conversation, collaboration and community, as we will convene entrepreneurs who are just where you are in your business. Once a month for two hours. It's an incredible return on your investment!
